Free to start.
The free tier is the whole working record and the coordination around it: the timeline with 30-second voice notes, the handbook, the emergency sheet, the circle with roles, medications with reminders, shared tasks, family chat, and visit coverage. It works offline and in Spanish, and you can export or delete it whenever you like. Free shows the last 90 days of your timeline.
The yearly price is two months free, and it stays locked for as long as your family keeps the record.
Premium adds
- The full history, back to day one.
- The Sunday digest email to the whole circle.
- Ask about your parent, answered from your own record.
- Document scanning: photograph the discharge papers and it drafts the meds and handbook for your approval.
- The daily glance, a short narrative of how the day is going.

A care arc ends. The record does not go away. It moves to archive mode: free, read-only, and kept forever. The family keeps everything.
Common questions
What happens if we stop paying for premium?
Your record stays and keeps working. Premium adds features on top of the free tier, so cancelling drops you back to the free plan with the whole working record intact: the timeline, the handbook, the emergency sheet, the circle, medications with reminders, tasks, chat, and visit coverage. Nothing you logged is deleted or locked, and you keep every word. The free plan shows the last 90 days of your timeline; turn premium back on and the full history is there again, back to day one.
Does the price go up in the middle of my parent's care?
No. Families already paying $19 a month keep that price for as long as their care arc lasts. If Kinbase ever prices new plans higher, existing families are held at their original rate. We do not reprice a family in the middle of caring for a parent.
What happens to a sponsored family if the agency stops sponsoring?
The record is the family's, so it continues. Sponsorship includes premium for every family an agency covers, so when a sponsorship ends the record moves to the free tier and stays fully theirs: the timeline, the handbook, the emergency sheet, the circle, medications, tasks, chat, and visit coverage. The premium extras pause and nothing logged is lost. A family can also start premium on their own to keep the full history and the rest.
Is there a free trial?
It is free to start with no card. The free tier is a real plan you can stay on for as long as you keep the record, so nothing expires and there is no bill waiting at the end. Add premium only if and when your record grows into it.
What does archive mode cost?
Nothing. Archive mode costs $0 and it stays free. When a care arc ends, the record moves to archive mode: read-only and kept for as long as your family wants it. There is no fee to keep it and no fee to read it, and you can export a printable copy whenever you like.
